起源 / ORIGINS
胡文英先生自幼随父母自中国广州南下,远赴马来亚谋生。定居马来亚后,胡老先生与几位同乡合资创办了一间小规模酱油厂,命名为「和生酱园」。他凭借祖辈传下的传统酿造手艺,在异乡一步一脚印地重现家乡的味道。
Our founder, Mr. Woo Mun Sing, came to Malaya with his parents from Guangzhou, China, to make a living. After a period of settlement in Malaya, Mr. Woo Mum Seng worked with his fellow countrymen to operate a small-scale soy sauce factory. Relying on the traditional brewing techniques passed down by his ancestors, he restored the taste of his hometown in a foreign land step by step.
创业 / SETTING UP BUSINESS
然而,随着加入的人数渐多,经营理念上的分歧也日益加深,最终胡老先生选择退出。当时他身无积蓄,仅分得数百个酱油缸。尽管资源有限,他依然不愿放弃梦想,毅然决定独自创业。1940年代,他在霹雳州和丰创立了一间家庭式酱油厂。创业初期,为了维持基本营运,他不得不变卖大部分酱油缸,并靠着一辆三轮车走街串巷,挨家挨户推销酱油。虽然历经重重困难,但因酱油味道鲜甜纯正,深受顾客喜爱。
Good times don't last forever. As more people joined in, the friction between shareholders increased. As a last resort, our founder chose to withdraw. He did not have much savings at that point in time. He only had a few hundred soy tanks. To pursue his dreams, he decided to establish his own business.
In the mid-1940s, he began to build a home-based soy sauce factory in Sungai Siput, Perak. At first, he had to sell most of the soy sauce tanks to maintain the operating costs of the factory. Relying on a tricycle, he went door-to-door to promote his soy sauce. Along the way, although he met many setbacks, the soy sauce that he crafted was widely acclaimed for being savory.
开拓 / DEVELOPMENT
后来,由于第二代家族成员对发展方向有不同看法,促成了全新品牌————「和丰胡酱园」的诞生。如今,和丰胡酱园由家族第二代与第三代共同经营,至今仍坚持祖辈传承的古法酿造,同时也不断研发创新,顺应时代与市场的变化。目前公司已开发超过二十种产品,涵盖餐饮业者与家庭用户。借助网络平台,公司产品也成功打入国际市场,业务蒸蒸日上。然而,胡家子孙始终谨记祖训,坚守初心,全心全意守护这一门传统工艺。
Currently, Woolicious is being managed by the second and third generation. Now we still follow the craftsmanship passed down by our ancestors and are making constant reform and innovation to meet the market demand.

The name WOOLICIOUS SAUCE MANUFACTURER PLT carries deep emotional and cultural meaning for our family. He Feng represents our roots — the place where our family was founded, symbolizing both our starting point and sense of belonging. Woolicious Sauce refers to the traditional soy sauce factory established by Mr. Woo Mun Sing, a legacy uniquely belonging to the Woo family.
This name serves as a reminder to every new generation: to stay true to our origins, to cherish the craft and traditions passed down by our ancestors, and to wholeheartedly preserve and carry on this legacy.

WOOLICIOUS most beloved and iconic products include Superior First Extract Light Soy Sauce, First Extract Light Soy Sauce, Selected Light Soy Sauce, and Angelica Flavored Black Vinegar. These first-extract soy sauces undergo a natural fermentation and brewing process lasting from 180 to 500 days, using carefully selected ingredients and slow, meticulous methods.
From steaming the soybeans to every stage of fermentation, our experienced saucemakers personally oversee and control the temperature and humidity — ensuring quality at every step. We firmly believe that only through craftsmanship and attention to detail can we create soy sauce that is rich, aromatic, and full of enduring flavor.
